How Our Program Works

Our school is built around a simple, proven process designed to create real results for both puppies and their people.

STEP ONE:

WE TRAIN YOUR PUPPY.

Drop your puppy off for structured, school-style training sessions throughout the day. Your pup practices skills through repetition, routine, and guided learning.

STEP TWO:

WE TEACH YOU.

Throughout the semester, we coach you through private owner lessons and personalized guidance so you know exactly how to continue your puppy’s progress at home.

STEP THREE:

ENJOY THE RESULTS!

Your puppy builds strong habits. You gain clarity and confidence.
By graduation, you both have the skills for lifelong success!

This isn’t your ordinary puppy training program.

The Puppy Academy is a premier puppy training experience providing unparalleled results and support for new puppy parents.

Why Puppy Training Feels So Overwhelming:

Many puppy parents find themselves piecing together advice from weekly classes, videos, and random online tips — often without clear direction tailored for their puppy or consistent results.

We take a more complete, structured approach designed around how puppies actually learn.

  • Daily repetition builds reliable habits

  • Structure creates calm, confident learners

  • Trainers catch and address challenges early

  • Owner coaching ensures results stick at home

This isn’t one-off training — it’s a comprehensive learning experience for both puppy and parent.

Our Training Approach

What We Do

Modeled after a school-style schedule and structure, we help shape puppies into well-mannered members of the family by training them first — then coaching their owners to maintain those results.

Our goal is to relieve the stress of puppyhood for new puppy parents by providing exceptional support and structured training that removes the guesswork of traditional methods, while building your confidence at home and in real-world situations.

We take the ruff out of puppyhood. This is Puppyhood Made Easy®.

How It Works

Puppies join us for a semester at The Puppy Academy, where they attend school during the day for fun structured training sessions, socialization, and guided practice.

At pick-up, you’ll receive updates on your puppy’s progress, tips for what to work on at home, and simple homework exercises to reinforce what they’re learning.

Puppies typically attend 3–6 days per week for up to 12 weeks, depending on their program.

Throughout the semester, owners participate in scheduled Private Owner Lessons to see their puppy’s skills firsthand and learn how to continue training successfully at home.

Why It Works

Good behavior isn't taught once — it's practiced until it becomes second nature.

Puppies learn best through consistency, structure, and repetition — not occasional lessons. By attending regularly over a full semester, they receive daily practice and clear expectations that help good habits form naturally and reliably.

Because we work with puppies during some of the most important early months of development, we can guide their behavior from the start and address challenges early — before they turn into patterns that are harder to change later.

Just as importantly, owner coaching ensures progress continues at home, so training becomes part of your puppy’s real-life routine — not something that only happens at school.

The Results

With consistent training over time, good habits become second nature for both you AND your puppy.

Training becomes part of your daily rhythm, which is why results continue well beyond graduation.

By the end of the semester, your puppy graduates with reliable manners, essential skills, and the confidence to navigate the world calmly — and you feel clear, capable, and proud of the progress you’ve made together.

And if you ever want to continue building on that foundation…Yes! We also offer Grad School!

PLUS: Gradautes will also gain exclusive access to our enrichment daycare center: The Puppy Academy Social Club ONLY available to our alumni!

Who This Program Is Best For

Ideal for families who want:

✔ The fastest progress through daily consistency and expert guidance.
✔ Real-world manners that become lasting habits — not just commands.
✔ Clear structure and step-by-step support.
✔ More time enjoying and having fun with their puppy, with less time wondering what to do next.
✔ Professional guidance instead of guesswork.

Our school model is designed around how puppies learn best: through consistency, repetition, and guided practice. Throughout the semester, puppies receive thousands of training repetitions that help transform new skills into reliable, lifelong habits.

The earlier you start, the more opportunity you have to build great habits while your puppy is still learning how to navigate the world.

Enrollment Requirements

Age:

Eligible puppies must be between the ages of 10 weeks and 9 months old and pass an initial temperament test to be enrolled. We welcome puppies of all breeds and sizes!

Vaccinations:

Puppies must be up-to-date with their vaccinations. We require a minimum of 2 rounds of DHPP and 1 round of Bordetella, plus a fecal test indicating no parasites (Giardia, etc.) to begin school.

Pups without all their vaccinations won't interact with the other students (they'll have their own play area) or go on outdoor walks on the ground (they'll practice Heel indoors and go for stroller walks instead so they are still socialized with the outside world). Once they have their third round, they can partake fully with the other students in class!

Health:

Enrolled students must also pass a daily health check before being admitted into class for the day. This is to ensure all students are in optimal health for their own safety and well-being, and that of their fellow classmates.
